CEO & Managing Director
Dr. Ndah Hycenth Tim
A Senior Research Associate, social scientist, and CEO of Rural Nexus, with over a decade of international research experience in sustainability-oriented innovations in agriculture and agri-food systems across Europe and Africa. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany), an MSc in Agricultural Sciences from University of Hohenheim (Germany), and a BSc in Geography and Economics from University of Buea (Cameroon). His expertise includes agricultural knowledge and innovation systems, sustainable innovation scaling, agricultural advisory services, organisational capacity assessment, and transformative learning. He applies participatory and interdisciplinary approaches, combined with digital decision-support tools, to design and assess demand-driven innovations for resilient, inclusive, and sustainable rural and agri-food systems.
Projects Web Design, Media and Communication Officer
Munu Fritz-Austin Ndam
A strategic Agricultural Engineer and Rural Development Practitioner holding a Master of Engineering in Agricultural Extension and Rural Socioeconomics, with strong expertise in agroecology, rural innovation systems, and community-led development. He currently serves as Projects Web Design, Media and Communication Officer at Rural Nexus, where he specializes in designing and implementing digital platforms for project visibility and stakeholder engagement, including websites, web applications, and social media communication channels. With a strong blend of technical and communication skills, he has hands-on experience managing full-cycle web development projects, developing digital communication strategies, and creating high-impact media and visibility content that strengthens outreach, knowledge sharing, and project dissemination. He also brings solid expertise in agile project coordination, digital system conception, technical communication, and data-driven evaluation tools such as the FarmAET program to support agroecological transition monitoring and evidence-based rural development initiatives. His work is driven by a commitment to sustainable agriculture, innovation, and empowering rural communities, particularly women and youth, through inclusive and impact-oriented development approaches.
Program Area Manager
Wilfred Njungwi Nkwain
A Geospatial and Environmental Specialist and Program Area Manager at Rural Nexus, with over 10 years of experience in water resource management, environmental impact assessment, and sustainable natural resource governance. He holds an MEng in Spatial Information Engineering and a BSc in Geology. His work integrates geospatial science, Earth Observation, and spatial analytics with interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary, and action research approaches to address complex sustainability and resource nexus challenges. He combines scientific analysis, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-support tools to strengthen resilient land, water, and environmental systems across diverse rural and development contexts.
Program Area Manager
Zelda Ayengeh Kiawi
A Senior Database Administrator, Data Analyst, Azure Cloud Solutions Specialist, and Program Area Manager at RuralNexus, with expertise in MS SQL data management. She holds a BSc in Public Health and Medical Informatics and contributes to project coordination, communication, and digital systems management within the network. Her experience includes networking and visibility activities, engagement with international funding bodies and research consortia, and the implementation of data security and compliance protocols to support data integrity and regulatory adherence. She is proficient in T-SQL, PowerShell, Excel, and data visualization tools including Power BI and Tableau. Zelda collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support the design and implementation of scalable digital infrastructure and data management solutions that strengthen project delivery, organizational coordination, and institutional visibility at RuralNexus. She also contributes to documentation, reporting, data analysis, and knowledge-sharing processes that support evidence-based decision-making and organizational development.
Program Area Manager
Martin Kuma
A lead Program Area Manager, at RuralNexus , with over 15 years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement within the agricultural and environmental sectors. He holds an MSc in Agricultural Sciences, Food Security, and Natural Resource Management, bringing an interdisciplinary perspective that supports RuralNexus’ mission of advancing sustainable and resilient rural and agri-food systems. His expertise includes inspections and audits under Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards in line with EU frameworks and OECD principles, regulatory compliance, SOP development, and multidisciplinary project coordination. Martin also has extensive experience in communication, networking, stakeholder collaboration, and digital knowledge-sharing activities, contributing to RuralNexus’ visibility, partnerships, and outreach objectives. He is particularly interested in innovative and AI-supported approaches that strengthen project management, communication, and sustainable rural development initiatives.
