Capacity Building & Knowledge Transfer
Overview
This program area strengthens the capacities of farmers, extension and innovation support organisations, and other stakeholders to engage in agricultural and rural innovation processes. It applies participatory, experiential, and transformative learning approaches to support innovation uptake, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
Key Activities
- Organizing trainings and capacity-building activities for farmers, extension workers, and innovation support actors
- Facilitating farmer-to-farmer exchanges, cross-visits, demonstrations, and peer-learning activities
- Supporting stakeholders in addressing challenges related to innovation adoption and implementation
- Developing practical learning materials, tools, and knowledge products
- Facilitating participatory and transformative learning and co-learning processes
- Strengthening multi-stakeholder collaboration and knowledge exchange platforms
